The Team

Our Banking & Finance team provides comprehensive legal services to a diverse range of clients, across borrowers/sponsors and lenders. With transactions ranging from £1 million to £1 billion, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile transactions across various sectors, such as energy, infrastructure, transport and real estate.  Our team is known for its expertise in acquisition finance, project finance, real estate finance, structured finance (including securitisation structures) and asset-based lending, and has been recognized by legal directories for its outstanding work.

Responsibilities

As a lawyer in our team, you'll have a clear path to progression. You'll contribute to building our culture by delivering exceptional client service and engaging in initiatives that enhance our workplace. Meeting personal goals and aligning your efforts with the firm's objectives will be key to your success. You'll also play a crucial role in developing new and existing client relationships while continuously growing your skills and expertise.

What You'll Need

To thrive in this role, you'll need relevant experience working on banking and financial transactions, alongside:

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively
  • Be self-motivated and willing to learn
  • Must be a SRA or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer
