We are currently recruiting for a Client Intake Assistant to join our Client Intake team on a 12 month fixed-term basis. This role is based in our Bristol office which is located in the heart of the city, a stone's throw from Bristol Temple Meads. We follow a hybrid model to the way we work, which combines both working from our office in Bristol and from home. Our hybrid working approach is based on a set of key principles centred on trusting our people to deliver. 

The Client Intake team is responsible for a range of client and matter on-boarding activities, including managing the firm's client matter inception process, conducting AML checks, running conflict checks, updating and managing client purchase orders, matter closure and routine client and matter data maintenance. 

About you

As our Client Intake Assistant you will be the first point of contact for our legal teams, you will be responsible for providing an efficient AML and conflict check service whilst also ensuring that all data is of good quality and accurate. You can expect to become a 'go to' person for enquiries and will always be ready to respond in an efficient and professional manner.

  • An understanding of requirements such as anti-money laundering, client due diligence and know your client. 
  • Experience in a similar New Business Intake or Client Intake role in the legal sector or in professional services (desirable). 
  • Have a general understanding of how to deal with conflicts of interest checks
  • A customer focused approach and able to work collaboratively at all levels. 
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel) is essential.
