We are looking for a Content Assistant to join us on a permanent basis in our Bristol office. This is an exciting new role within the Marketing Team, created to contribute to supporting Burges Salmon in its continued and strategic growth.

Working closely with our Head of Pursuits, Head of Business Development and Head of Marcomms and line managed by our Content Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Content Manager with updating bid content and effective maintenance of a content management system.
  • Formatting Pursuits tender documents in collaboration with the document specialist team and supporting the Business Development team with sourcing content for use across pitches, directories and other BD materials.
  • Assisting with the collection, curation and use of directory content in support of the submission and preparation of the legal directories programme.
  • Creating surveys and reports across a number of the Marketing team's projects.

To be successful as our Content Assistant, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • A self-starter who is proactive and uses their initiative to take ownership of workload and competing tasks.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills developed through a combination of studies and/or employment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate in a professional manner with people at all levels.
  • Effective ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, with experience of MS Excel.
