Are you an experienced Corporate Crime & Investigations lawyer looking for a new opportunity? Join our Corporate Crime & Investigations Team (part of the firm's Dispute Resolution department), where you'll have access to top-calibre clients, with real responsibility and ownership from day one.
The Opportunity
You will advise corporates, and their boards and directors, on business critical issues concerning corporate crime, financial crime and regulatory enforcement. Our team specialises in crisis management, corporate and director liability, undertaking corporate internal investigations, engaging with regulators and defending complex investigations and prosecutions.
You will have good experience in corporate crime, financial crime and/or regulatory enforcement, ideally with experience of advising corporates in relation to large scale investigations and prosecutions.
You'll benefit from a varied workload, including serious fraud and money laundering; bribery and corruption; sanctions and export controls; the recovery of the proceeds of crime; corporate manslaughter; health and safety; and coroners' inquests.
As one of 100+ dispute resolution lawyers working on a diverse range of complex challenges facing clients in the private and public sector, you will work closely with highly regarded lawyers, including:

What you'll need
- Practical experience of some or all of the following:
- Criminal law and procedure
- Corporate criminal liability
- Advising in relation to a large scale criminal investigation
- Advising a corporate in relation to a criminal investigation by the police, the SFO, HMRC, the FCA, the HSE, the EA, etc
- Advising in relation to a large-scale coroner's inquest
- Advising in relation to health & safety compliance and complex regulatory risk
- Strong team working skills
- Excellent interpersonal, client and commercial skills
- Adaptability and ability to deal with complex work under pressure
- Registration as a lawyer with the SRA
