Are you passionate about graduate and apprentice programmes? Do you have a knack for identifying and nurturing the brightest minds? We're looking for an Emerging Talent Specialist to join our award-winning Resourcing team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

As an Emerging Talent Specialist, you will work closely with our Resourcing Business Partner to ensure that our trainees and apprentices have an outstanding experience throughout their training contract and apprenticeship journey. You will play an important role in shaping their development and ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed to thrive.

The main responsibilities of the Emerging Talent Specialist include:

  • Provide advice and guidance: Offer personalised support to trainees throughout their training contract or apprenticeship.
  • Contribute to the seat rotation process: Work with the emerging talent business partner on seat rotations, balancing the firm's resourcing needs with trainee preferences.
  • Moderate and review trainee seat reviews: Monitor performance and provide feedback.
  • Manage the secondment process: Coordinate secondment opportunities and review terms.
  • Conduct satisfaction surveys: Gather feedback to assess trainee and apprentice satisfaction.
  • Organise and run focus groups: Lead focus groups to enhance trainee and apprentice experiences.
  • Assist with recruitment events: Support the running of assessment centres, vacation schemes, and attraction events.

What we're looking for:

  • Understanding of effective talent management, with experience in managing trainees, apprentices, or similar roles, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks and schedules efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with trainees, apprentices, and colleagues.
  • Problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in managing processes.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
  • A proactive mindset to anticipate needs and improve processes.
