As our IT Department continues to grow, we are excited to be recruiting for a full-time On-site IT Service Desk Technician in our Bristol office on a permanent basis. This is an exciting new opportunity for a personable and customer-focused Service Desk Technician to develop their technology skillset while delivering excellent customer service.

In this role, you will be uniquely placed to provide on-the-ground support to our Bristol office, ensuring our people continue to deliver our leading client service. You will handle service desk incident resolution and escalation, always with a focus on outstanding customer service. We are looking for a keen problem-solver who is eager to go the extra mile to find solutions. In return, you will join a friendly and hardworking service desk team at a firm where developing our people is at the heart of our business.

We welcome candidates who have completed an IT apprenticeship or further studies.

As an On-site IT Service Desk Technician, you will have every opportunity to make an impact in a progressive team that is key to ensuring the business moves forward. Our IT Service Desk is the first point of contact for our users, whether they require support, guidance, or diagnosis of simple technical problems, as well as escalation. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of customer service.

Take a look at how some of our IT Service Desk team sum up their experience:

When speaking with staff who are having an IT issue – they are always very polite and grateful. It is great how much support you receive from your managers and colleagues. They are always very happy to give advice or help in any way they can.” Phillip, Triage Technician.

Having not come from a technology background, it was a bit daunting starting in the IT Department as I felt I might struggle, but I have been supported by both my colleagues and management to develop my practice, learn new skills, and grow my confidence. It's a really collaborative team and everybody works together to help not only our users, but also our co-workers.” Jess, Senior IT User Administrator.

About you:

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Customer Service Skills: You excel in delivering outstanding customer service and enjoy communicating with people at all levels.
  • Calm Under Pressure: You can remain calm under pressure while maintaining a keen eye for detail and strong time management skills.
