Do you have a passion for managing impactful projects in a business environment? Do you excel at coordinating teams and ensuring seamless communication? Are you looking to make a significant impact at a forward-thinking firm? We're recruiting for a Project Manager to lead our office fit-out project/s (Ourspace), a key initiative for our firm.
About the Role: As our Project Manager, you will be involved in many different projects across various business departments (so there will be plenty of variety), but the first project you will be leading is an office fit out. Join us in transforming our space with an innovative office fit out project and be the point of contact between the business and contractors, ensuring a smooth transition and business readiness before and after.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the office fit-out project and other business-focused projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality as agreed.
- Produce accurate resource forecasts and secure resources to ensure projects are delivered within set time scales and budget.
- Assess and monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests to ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality criteria.
- Provide regular updates on project status to the project sponsor and Project Board, and offer concise reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Guide and motivate project team members to achieve desired results, ensuring effective communication throughout the project.
- Draft project documentation and complete necessary analyses, including requirements, stakeholder analysis, project initiation documentation, business case, testing, and transition to service.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in office fit-out projects, working closely with external professional teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a business Project Manager with a can-do attitude.
- Proactive, quick-thinking, and able to manage competing project demands and time-critical schedules.
- Confident and credible, with the ability to identify the wider impact of decisions in complex projects.
- Skilled in managing risks, resolving problems, and delivering results in challenging environments.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the gravitas to manage conflicting stakeholder requirements.
- Proficient in agile and waterfall project management techniques, with clear documentation and presentation skills.
- Desirable: Experience in a professional services environment, working on a mix of business and technically focused projects, and formal training in recognized project management methodologies such as Prince 2, PMP, APMP, or MSP.
If you are a proactive and experienced Project Manager with a background in office fit-out projects, we would love to hear from you.
