We are on the search for a Pursuits Assistant to join us on a permanent basis. This is an exciting and fast-paced role in a close-knit, ambitious team with lots of opportunity to develop as we continue our strategic growth plans. Our Pursuits team are central to  delivering our business development strategy, working side by side with our legal teams to understand and anticipate the needs of our clients. We're looking for someone with excellent communication and prioritisation skills to contribute to the wider team's work in increasing win probability and win rate of competitive opportunities and tenders for target sectors and key client relationships

What you'll be doing

  • Working closely with the Pursuits leads and Pursuit Project Managers to support opportunities utilising bid project management principles and tools, keeping timelines under constant review, driving forward key actions.
  • Supporting procurement-driven tenders, particularly in the Public Sector via online portals, focusing on the completion and collation of relevant documentation associated with Selection Questionnaire/ Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and supporting CCS trainees in managing queries associated with Public Sector opportunities.
  • Supporting milestone meetings from tender kick-off to submission review, presentation preparation and debrief.
  • Sourcing best practice content from the Marketing Repository - editing and reviewing/ proofreading of proposal documents – in terms of content and messaging.
  • Planning for pitch presentations including helping to create materials and liaising with document specialists as needed and organising rehearsals.
  • Support on carrying out pitch feedback (internally and externally).
  • Taking responsibility for the collation, completeness and integrity of data held in opportunity database.
  • Playing a key role in the administration of established Pursuits processes such as debriefs, forecasting, mobilisation and the scheduling of workstream meetings, using trackers, logs and other relevant tools.
  • Supporting the Pursuits team to deliver improvements and increase efficiency of the pursuit process.
