What you'll be doing:
We are looking for a Recruitment Assistant to delve into a breadth of work across our Emerging Talent team. You will not need prior resourcing experience, we are looking for someone with a curiosity and appetite to get stuck into all aspects of their work and contribute to our team's culture of continuous improvement to deliver our market-leading emerging talent offering.
You will be placed to develop your confidence and skillset alongside our Recruitment Business Partner and RecruitmentSpecialists; our team not only recruit trainee solicitors, apprentices and client support roles but also manage all aspects of these programmes and provide pastoral support. You will also help to run our leading Working with Schools programme, engaging with local schools and aspiring students to show them all that Burges Salmon has to offer. The work will be fast-paced and guaranteed to build your skillset working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Our Emerging Talent team run recruitment cycles over a period of months to attract (careers fairs, schools visits, social media and in-house events) and recruit (application review, assessment centres, work experience, interviews) the very best early talent. What we're looking for:
There will be an aspect of travel to attend careers events so we are looking for someone who can be flexible to travel and work outside of core office hours as and when required.
