We're looking for a Resourcing Specialist to join our innovative BFlex team at Burges Salmon. BFlex is a leading legal resourcing platform providing our clients with diverse legal expertise options. It's a significant time in the platform's development, and you will play a key role in the transformation and delivery.

As our BFlex Resourcing specialist, you will attract, develop, and engage with our pool of freelance Legal Consultants and Paralegals. You will work closely with the BFlex Resourcing Business Partner and other stakeholders to place Consultants into assignments within the firm's Legal departments or the legal teams of our clients.

What you'll be doing:

  • Engage with the existing BFlex candidate pool to discuss current and future assignment opportunities.
  • Plan and execute targeted candidate attraction and recruitment projects.
  • Interview and assess applicants and prospective candidates.
  • Develop and recommend resourcing solutions in collaboration with the Resourcing Business Partner.
  • Negotiate assignment terms, conditions, and other contractual points.
  • Communicate policies around regulatory matters such as employment status.
  • Use social media to promote the BFlex scheme and interact with the candidate market.
  • Represent Burges Salmon and the BFlex platform at industry events.
  • Track and contribute data for regular management reporting.
  • Assist with the processing of BFlex payroll and client billing processes.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in recruitment is essential.
  • Experience in the legal sector is preferable; knowledge of the in-house interim market is ideal.
  • A motivated and positive ‘can-do' attitude.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to speak to candidates of all levels.
  • The ability to problem solve and devise creative solutions to novel issues.

Engaging with candidates is crucial for this role. We're seeking someone who understands that providing a positive candidate experience is essential to attract the best talent.
