Our student information day

We will be holding a student information day at our Bristol office on Thursday 13 March 2025. The day is aimed at students in years 12  & 13 who have an interest in a career in law or as a business professional in the legal sector. Our student information days are designed to offer opportunities to students within Bristol and the surrounding areas. 

At the information day, students can expect to enjoy:

• a general introduction to Burges Salmon
• Insights into what a lawyer does and the routes to becoming a qualified solicitor
• an overview of different career options across our business service departments (IT, Finance, Operations, People and Marketing to name a few)
• Advice on application-writing and interview preparation
• the opportunity to meet like-minded peers and collaborate in different activities

To ensure we are supporting people with attending our in-person events we will reimburse travel expenses up to the amount of £100 as well as up to £80 for hotel accommodation for those traveling from further afield. Please get in touch to check that a hotel stay would be appropriate before making any bookings.
