We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Test Manager to join our Transformation and Project Management team for a 12-month contract. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we continue to look for innovative ways to improve our internal processes and client offering, this role forms a key part of the journey.

As our Test Manager you will be responsible for:

  • The allocation and co-ordination of test schedules, work and resource plans.
  • You will be coordinating progress of all testing activities against the plan and carrying out triaging and issue management with internal testing teams and third parties to manage your own deliverables and that of others, to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Responsible for the overall test plan design and processes, applying, articulating and constructing business specific end to end scenarios, define standards for development of test scripts and ensuring consistency across teams, deployment and reuse.
  • The test manager will define and estimate testing effort for each project and programme undertaken in conjunction with the Business Analyst and Project Manager and document test results.

The projects you will be involved in genuinely impact the way the firm works and your work will be recognised by the Board as a job exceptionally well done. You will be taking the lead in defining the Firm's testing strategy and governance- so it will really be an opportunity to shine.

About you

To be successful in this role we are looking for the following:

  • An experienced Test Manager with excellent project, commercial and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge and experience of Software Testing practices and principles
  • Hands on experience of creating and running manual and automated test scripts
  • Experience in creating and maintaining documentation
  • Experience in using test management tools such as DevOps, or JIRA
  • Strong analytical skills as required for problem solving, with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills, including client-facing skills
  • ISTQB Advanced and Project Management qualification advantageous
